Thanks for the info. A light house beacon would look pretty sick (talk about Babylon A.D. ha?), but I kind of wish the beam would be vertical too. Because that way it would be possible to recognize NY from very far away...

I like the lightsaber spire beam but I hate the lighthouse spire beam, the lighthouse one looks like the lights of a police car or an ambulance and on a skyscraper that is rather ridiculous

Wow, after a horribly slow November, December and January they now have an incredibly fast February. In this month alone there have been 3 height jumps, that's awesome. Considering this gigantic speed increase and the delays at 4WTC caused by the steel fall incident I have kinda like no doubt that 1WTC will top out to the roof earlier than 4WTC

A horizontal light, like a beacon, I think, Is emblematic of what the Statue of Liberty stands for: a beckoning symbol lighting the way for those seeking a new life, a new world. I think it is appropriate aesthetically and symbolically.

I'll believe it when the PA says it. I can't find any official sources on this information.

Well they feel behind during January but it seems they are really picking up the pace! Hopefully they are on target
