The new perimeter columns didn't make a height jump because there already were core columns for that floor so the height is still 371 meters or 1216 feet

Jersey City owns. It has a front row seat to the most breathtaking urban landscape in existance, and looks pretty damn good itself to boot.

Let's hope that render will become real in a few years, including 30 Park Place.

Nice modern light rail system you have over there in Jersey. I like the fact that, despite it's a modern state-of-the-art system the rail cars still use the traditional sounding "trolley bell". That's neat!!

Went by the site today as I was on jury duty in lower Manhattan. It was cloudy and the cranes appeared to be not working but what a beehive of activity the place is. There is work going on every where and even the noise is quite impressive. There was particularly a lot of work on WTC 2 and WTC 3. Lots of concrete mixing trucks down there pouring concrete.

I know it is not easy for many readers here to visit the site but if you want to see it at the peak of its activity and can get here I think right now and this spring is an awesome time to visit. You gotta love more than a dozen large cranes on a site all in action at the same time :-)
