Dont call it the Willis tower! lol. I do agree with you, the Sears will still be taller in 2/4 categories defined by the CTBUH actually, which is roof height, and top floor. But who cares, I love both buildings, and am dying to see this one top out, it will redefine downtown Manhattan, and will make downtown look unbelievably good!

Although I agree, I should note that the height on the Sears tower is wrong on that diagram, I noticed it a few weeks ago, and finally decided to do something about it!

I am a nut when it comes to accuracy, haha. On a mod im making in CE3, set in nyc, I actually made sure all the news stand, and street planters were accurate to the angle, to the real life version, anyways back on topic

Also that's a great picture, NYC is booming

.........and I think in the USA they call ground level floor one where most everywhere else the first floor is one level above ground level.......gives you a head start anyway.

I never understood the logic in not calling the ground floor "floor 1" seems like common sense to me. Anyway, we also don't include the 13th floor, so we're back to even.

I'm waiting for that shot of the 1WTC with a 747 with the Enterprise hovering above it. Will anyone?

The space shuttle is flying all over Manhattan today on a 747. We should see lots of pics soon. I got three pics, but only over Hudson River as I can't see lower Manhattan from here.

Looking at tower 1 base cam, it looks like base cladding has arrived.

China often skips floors with the number 4 in them, so I guess everyone is cheating.

According to a Brazilian news site to the local paper Folha de São Paulo (link here), WTC will surpass Empire State as the tallest in NYC by next week. The picture in the news, though small, is very nice!
