I hope at the end the whole 1776ft issue is resolved...

With or w/o the spire redesign, this building would never be 1776 feet tall, since they measure now from the lowest entrance point.

So a fight over the symbolic height is completely nonsense at all.

Its going to be either 1374 feet tall or close to 1800 afaik.

So, only almost the same height.

How long has it been since the last jump? Seems like at least a month. Aren't we due for a jump really soon?

Yes it is...? Because the CTBUH now counts the height from the lowest occupied floor, you now add six feet so 1,374 feet

the CTBUH still says the architectual height is 1776 feet.

but they also list the occupied height as 1254 feet, or 382 meters which is incorrect.

It's Fleet Week! If you're within view of the Hudson you've probably noticed the warships, old and modern.

There is a large piece of steel on the north side of the tower being hoisted up on Earthcam. It can't be going up another level by any chance?

It's a 1374 ft building, with a antennae that gives it a pinnacle height of 1782 ft.

Imagine video displays surrounding the base -- a southern Times Square series of animated ads -- a great way to raise revenue to help fund the development of this complex.

Might be, looks like they've removed the wooden boards covering the gaps in the cladding, just above the podium on the south face of the tower.
