Considering they already put up the louver columns I'd guess a true jump will come very soon. Though that is just a guess

Obama will visit the site June 14th, and this article confirms it is still 1776 feet.

So finally, please change the title back to 1776 feet, thanks.

If it's official 1776 feet the title has to be changed.

The tower will still look and be amazing whether or not the spire or antenna is added.

However, considering it was part of the architect's vision - and there is a deep connection to the height of 1,776 feet - I hope 1WTC ends up with a spire.

A truly great tower, in a truly historic location in what is truly the world's greatest city...what's not to love?

Sorry, if this question has been already asked. But what are they doing in front of the Winter Garden? Hopefully they do some renovation only, because a building in front of it would spoil the wonderful view from the inside to the WTC site!

I noticed it's changed back to 1776ft. Does this mean the antenna is being counted as official height?

Major renovation, including complete makeover of the West St entrance. Will greatly integrate the WFC into the completed WTC complex.
