*P.S.* Glass is now approximately 950 feet high!! If the glass was it's own structure, it would be the 7nth highest structure in the city!! only 2 feet to surpass the spire of the AIG Building

lol I was thinking the same exact thing..so here are some stats!

One World Trade Center is...........

-84 feet taller than the Empire State Building
-134 feet taller than Bank of America Tower
-288 feet taller than the Chrysler Building/NY Times Tower
-382 feet taller than AIG Tower WITH the spire!
-407 feet taller than 40 Wall Street WITH the spire!
-484 feet taller than GE Building/One Chase Manhattan
-593 feet taller than 7 World Trade Center

-------------------------------------------------------------
-only 117 feet below the roof of the Sears Tower!!
-only 55 feet from surpassing the spire of the Trump Tower

-------------------------------------------------------------

-17nth tallest building in the world
-11nth highest roof height in the world!! soon to be in the Top 10 once it surpasses the 1,335 foot roof height (1 foot) of 2 International Commerce Center

Calm down folks I photoshopped that myself for fun, it's nothing official. I wasn't able to make a realistic spire so I left it without one.

Many people don't seem to have the word "calm" in their vocabulary around here

craziest part is, roofwise, there could easily be 3 or 4 towers that top this by decades end, maybe more

Even though it may take a while for them to be built, perhaps wait until they are finished, then we will have many high buildings.
This cluster although not the best, is still good. I can't see it being bland and submissive since it really does stand out from the older buildings surrounding it.

Its shaping up to look quite nice to be honest. It needs a spire/antenna. Without one, it will look exactly like the tower in South Korea and a bit like SWFC, it certainly needs some differentiation.

AGAIN: No comparisons with or discussions about the old WTC in here! We had several fights about it and won't allow such talks anymore, so just refrain from stating things in connection to it. THANKS!

This a great picture that's for sure. I will be getting video updates this weekend from Rockaway, and Brooklyn, wish I could do them today, but I have to work, maybe Friday night after work. Does anybody know if the cocoon will rise before Saturday? I wanted to get video and pictures of the steel before the cocoon rises. Anyway I will do the best I can to bring everybody different angle shots in next days, also I will be doing video's and pics even after this baby is topped out and of other projects as well. Take care everyone for now and keep the great pictures coming!!!!
