The stairs that were being hoisted were right next to some of the external stairs that were already in place. I'm sorry that critical thinking isn't your thing. I normally wouldn't waste my time, but you've made about 4 posts playing the victim.

Apologies, should have refered to the people who have been following the project since the beginning, which used to be the most of the board.
You should follow the conversation more carefully, some posts need a bit of thinking and conjecture making in order to understand them properly.

Honestly Guys, I was always taught that if your not 100 percent sure of something, you ask. I see nothing wrong with asking just to confirm your thought.
We're not perfect here, so lets put this at rest shall we.
We weeks away from what will be a marvelous accomplishment for The World Trade Center, New York and America, so lets stop the foolish nonsense.

He's the most overly-sensitive one around here. He's the one who attacks me for being an "obnoxious troll," that's a good one

I never said it on here because I know that I would of bashed about it... Anyway I am under the same impression, maybe it's the corners but I do not find it as tall as the old ones. Not saying the tower isn't tall but the older ones had the more massive look when below

The Tapering effect makes it look smaller. But from further distances, where the tapering isn't evident, it looks taller.

It looks the most massive from the North, south, east and west, where you can't see the tapering and it looks rectangular.

Irony. The tapering is supposed to make it look taller.

That is probably due to the cladding being only 300 meters up, and the setbacks of the ESB that give it a taller appearance.

I've often thought that too, but I think it will look much taller and imposing once the exterior glass has reached roof height.
