Nope, it's 2 meters taller than the North tower and 4 meters taller than the South Tower

From what I understand (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_World_Trade_Center [See Layout]) , floor 105, denoted as 110, will be a 16 sq. ft. storage area, like on IDS in Minneapolis. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IDS_Tower [See Paragraph One], http://skyscraperpage.com/diagrams/?cityID=255 [A visual explanation, look for the small block between its antennae.])

That statue has a name: "Civic Pride."

The ornate neo-classical building, is the New York City Municipal Building - an extension, if you will, of City Hall. It was designed by the very famous early 20th Century architectural firm of McKim, Mead & White.

This photo approximates the view from my favorite uncle's apartment terrace, he lives in one of the towers of South Bridge Towers at 90 Gold Street. I visited him 3 weeks ago, staying in NYC for 5 days, and will visit him again in another week or two ... I always have a place to stay in Manhattan.

ok, why is the constructions taking way too slow compared to shanghai tower which had even more complex structure ect. they're like building 3 floors in a week, is it their technique or the number of workers? they rise the core first, then followed by the floor construction around it though.

if 1WTC had their pace, it would've been topped out to the spire by now...

1WTC is a far more complex project, not sure what gave you the idea it wasn't.

1WTC is far more complex. Also, the first steel, then concrete core allows for stronger connections between floor beams and the core, which adds to the strength and safety of the tower

Because it is being run by the Porth Authority of New York - New Jersey which is an independent government agency with virtually no oversight and which is infamous for bureaucracy and waste.

Hence they can work really slowly and spend far more money and no one will be held accountable.
