Well they're almost there, and so in the meantime, if it isn't topped out right away, the good news is that, the glass exterior will continue to rise, the flooring of each floor will be laid flat, and soon work will begin on the cladding of the base.

The base cladding will cover up the ugly concrete and make it look much better. Does anyone know when they will start work on it?

that question has been asked a million times, and no one quite knows the true answer. After all, they did say they would top off in April, then July 4, so I wouldn't trust any real source. -_-

Base Cladding will begin in October.

I wish everybody would stop blaming the Pa for everything. They are doing the most logical thing. It makes no sense to build either tower just to "fill the gap" if there isn't any tenants. Just build it for it to sit there and look pretty? Give some time. Those towers will go up. Better Late than never

I myself won't consider the WTC site complete without tower 5 and the PA center. So we still have to wait, nevertheless.

Yes, you don't want such expensive buildings to lack tenants, but if they'd just go ahead and build quickly, large tenants debating over headquarters in 2WTC or Hudson would just go ahead and move into 2WTC because they wouldn't have to wait anymore.

Good thing about being managed by a bi-state agency is that you can request for documents and information (as long as these aren't confidential or too detailed), they're also forced to make public progress reports of the site, something that wouldn't happen if the project was run by a private developer (take 7 for instance)

I mean 1 new and 1 old, but 3 and 4 WTC are also very close.

It's just the viewing angle and camera lens combining to create an illusion of a different shape than the tower actually is.
