I hope so. Can't wait for this tower to be completed!

Edit: Over at skyscraperpage, Carlos just posted a picture of what seems like to be new perimeter steel!

I used mcedit, so it only took 2 days.
I built the complex too along with the twins with a redstone wire 911 renactment system but my wtc was only 70 m high.

Someone said on skyscraperpage that they got steel in, but it was the wrong kind of steel so they have to get a brand new set of it...

It wasn't the wrong kind it was just steel for use on another portion of the building just not perimeter columns.
On the KPI TV cams the 2nd WFC cam shows a gray colored perimeter column? Is it a perimeter column? There are also some more near the base.
And Carlos over on SSP took a snap of what appears to be the same column.

The steel that was thought to be part of the spire is actually perimeter steel.
We have now reached the roof, 1,334 feet tall.

Alright Guys, this is it.
The steel has now hit the roof.
We're now 1,334 feet tall.
Floor 105
One Jump left which is the parapet.

Will the roof take longer then the other floors? Or will this one only take a week or so?

It should be noted that the cooling towers can be considered small mech floors, so I'd say the real roof will be at the top of the parapet cause that is also the top of those cooling towers. But yeah, this is the jump which marks the slab with which the core ends and on which the antenna will be placed, so it really is a glorious moment and I am very proud and happy to witness it

I used to have huge objections against the final plan of the redevelopment of the site, but most of them have been washed away by me getting used to this new complex. I don't wanna make just a typical wow comment. I'd really like to say that I learned to love this building and now I love it just like I loved the Twins, so to anybody who still hesitates in acknowledging this tower as the new WTC I can only say, take your time, learn more about this tower, watch it rise and you'll love it too just as I do

Those beams look pretty tall. I'm sure Otie can tell us officially how tall the tower is now

Yeah, I built a ton of buildings(Twin towers, sears tower, citic plaza, empire state building, chrysler building, ect.) before the height restriction was doubled. Now I have to build them all again but I dont really have the time so I built 1wtc instead.
