It's certainly rising as well. Nice observation!

What I'm thinking is they put 40 foot columns up. So were def in the 1,350 range.

I'm guessing since we are supposedly ~1,350 feet, they are splitting the parapet into two separate sections of steel, each being 20 feet, since the top is 1,374 and floor 105 at 1,334, but they will ultimately function together, not seperately.

What Happened to 1,368 feet?

I've seen multiple reports of the new height with an extra 2 meters. Check its thread on SSP. It says 1373' , but most people are saying 1,374 feet now.

The 1373 height figure is merely accounting for a different elevation starting point of the building. It's still the same design. If we're talking about 1373 as the height of the parapet, then we'd say the building is about 1355 ft tall ATM. If we used the 1368 figure, we'd say the building is 1350 ft tall right now.

Thanks for the info spectre. Seeing 1,374 lately had me disappointed, but now it's alright. I guess it's the same thing as Sears originally being 1,454 feet, but later being reannounced at 1,450 because Franklin Street was 4 feet lower than South Wacker.

i got over the fact that it wont be 1776, because its still nearly the same height at the old building..and i understand there reasoning because they were scared to build these buildings when they designed them cause it was right after 9/11, im sure if it was now the roof height would be 1776..
