Well they have already started interior marble cladding of the base and lobby.

The exterior cladding will begin in October.

Im sick of the burj fans all getting down on 1wtc. IMO this I one of the best supertalls in the entire world. Why do people think a skyscrapers height means it is architecturally better?

Can you please direct me where exactly this "Burj Khalifa fans" are dissing 1WTC?

Though Burj Khalifa is a very beautiful structure and a testament to Mankind's engineering prowess,I still like 1WTC better in my opinion.More iconic looking I guess.

I was referring to the completion of beams being installed on the NE facade, and the remaining gap being on the SE facade.

And it feels amazing to have all the parapet beams placed!

It probably lifts beams to the Northern side of the building.

If you are talking out the crane on the side of the building on the NW facade, I believe it places glass panels.

The crane on the NW corner, aka climbing crane, assists with the concrete work. The glass is placed by hangers from the floor directly above it.

I am talking about the one on the side.
Technically its the north side because manhattan streets are tilted at almost a 45 degree angle.

You're right. I forgot abouth that. I guess it's just easy to refer to them as the grid street system runs.
