Not inmediately after but when all the work related with the welding and bolting of the spandrels and related is complete.

Will the spire be assembled when concrete flooring hits the roof or when the core hits the roof?
Also, what floor is the concrete floor on?

The core superstructure has already reached the roof, mast installation will begin once the concrete slab is poured at the roof. Currently slab pouring is going underway at the 101st observation level.

Fianlly- What else is disappointing, is that the Port Authority keeps calling it a spire and saying it will be 1,776.Do they think we're stupid?
I already forgot about the whole antenna issue ,it has grown on me now .

I'm guessing that these are the next level of spandrel beams to be placed? The one closest to the building is bent at that end so it looks like that one will be placed for the slightly bent corner nodes (I guess lol).

That was a very good movie, I kept thinking to myself "I would go hide in the One World Trade Center core."
Back on topic: I added the temporary core steel to my model, and It made me think that they will make some kind of miniature hat truss within the core. What I mean is that it makes sense to me to use heavy beams at diagonal angles to connect what will be the very thick slab under the spire/antenna to the core walls. Also I noticed in a set of pictures by an iron worker on Wired New York that the core steel up right now at the roof level is massive, as are the beams connecting the perimeter columns to the core. I'm assuming that the later are going to carry the load of the communications ring because on a roof drawing uploaded by zen [RIP] show the ring support system directly above the beams between the core and perimeter columns. I wonder if they can use the current cranes to build at least some of the ring structure, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I was hoping they would use the world trade center for something (not just symbolic) kind of like how in the dark knight they used the trump tower in Chicago for a battle seen when it was under construction.

Thanks for the video. I just wish they hadn't sped it up. I could watch a video of that view for 5 minutes.

The WTC with all the towers was in Madagascar 3, even in the beginning with the mud sculptures. It didn't look very realistic but it was pretty cool to see.
