i'm sure they'll use this method when the tower has reached streetlevel. but at this stage of construction i think they're not able to use it

They are able to use this slipforms at this level, but it's of no use as the floors around the core take much longer to build at this stage.

I have a question: The FT will have 1m thick concrete core walls, so what do you think, will this thickness reduce the construction speed of the FT? I mean a 1m thick wall has to dry alot longer than for example a 0,6m thick wall........and each floor has to dry until they can begin with a new one.......

I hope this isnt a stupid question, i am really lokoking forward for replys to it.

You totally deserve some sort of reward for not posting a crap comment in this thread!

Now it looks like almost all of the massive, vertical perimeter steel columns have been erected so I bet we'll start to see other structural features starting very soon; to add, the core is still growing and the area around this tower is only starting to explode. They most likely started Tower 4 without a peep or perhaps they are just going to wait several more days for Tower 3's site to be ready too.

You won't see this really serious to rise until the steel on the northern wall of the building goes up. I give it another 2-3 weeks before this happens.

1. Make that Q2 (April thru June)

2. Work normally proceeds on the FT from 7 am to 4 pm daily except on Sunday

3. There is no rubble from 9/11. WTC remnants include the slurry walls and the underground parking lot that covers the subway tunnel. The survivor's staircase is still left but it is currently being removed.
