What is the actual roof height of this tower? I've heard many different numbers ranging from 1,334 feet to 1,374 feet. For a while I thought the correct number was 1,368 but I found out that was to the top of the parapet. The roof to me on this tower is the floor plates to which the white parapet beams are attached to.

419 meters or 1374 feet is the roof height cause that is both the height of the top of the parapet and the height of the roof of the cooling towers, which are essentially small mech floors

Ok thanks for the clarification Kanto. So 1WTC will be the 9th tallest building in the world when completed next year according to roof height right ahead of International Finance Centre in Hong Kong.

I don't know about the floor plate of the top floor with windows, but the ceiling of the top floor with windows is 410 meters for both old and new 1WTCs. The floor plate of the top mech floor (cooling tower) is 1 meter taller in the new 1WTC with 414 meters (old having it 413 meters). The ceiling of the top mech floor (cooling tower) is 419 meters for the new 1WTC and 417 meters for the old one. This data is based on both photos of the old WTC and SSP diagrams

No it's called dedication, something that people have to contribute instead of mocking others. Nice taste in skyscrapers by the way, SWFC has to be #1. while covered in that smog.

Hmm... The antenna doesn't look so bad now. I think I'm starting to like it more than the spire.

I have no idea why you continue with these personal attacks or why you are looking at my posting history, but I'll have the mods straighten this out.

Nice.

So hopefully, all of them will be installed by this week and the building will be officially topped off.

Yes it could. Plastic cladding exists, although it always looks a bit cheap and of low quality. Google is your friend.

You guys might call it dedication, but me and a lot of others call it rather annoying. Please refrain from these posts, this is not a chatroom for christ's sake.

And chibears: it's nothing personal but since you did your little 'all caps rage' on the taping of the base, I kinda've formed an image of you. Prove us wrong man
