In response to the above render, I have these renders: Step by step layers of my model as of now, with changes to doghouse based on the second youtube video posted earlier today/yesterday.

When will the cladding be on the observation deck floors? How high should it be in November?

Does anybody else think that this tower looks shorter than some other shorter buildings?
I was just looking at the London Shard and it looks so much taller.

Yeah, your right, but I try to make it seem taller, but I can't, there is no doubt that it's a tall building, but it looks shorter to some shorter buildings.
I'll wait for the glass to be installed before I further comment on it's height

The London shard and wtc 4 are only 37 feet apart so that shows how truly massive 1wtc is,so imagine how huge 1wtc would look in the London skyline.

To me 1WTC looks actually taller than for example the old Twins. It is because of the tapering. The thinner a building is the taller it appears. For example 432 Park will appear taller than most megatalls out there

I think this building looks really tall because its surrounded by tall buildings, it adds to it's massiveness because it rises so far past it's surroundings. Plus it looks taller than the previous twins because it tapers and its on its own.

Because there are no so many other skyscrapers around the shard in London.

You don't know just how massive 1WTC is going to look once the facade reaches the top.You can take it to Microsoft paint and paint it blue,I did and it looks immense.

The black building(Hilton Hotel)between 1WTC and the WFC,in the background,is about the same height as 30st. Mary Axe.1WTC would make the shard look like a kid, especially with a monstrous girth.Someone for the love of skyscrapers, put a rendering of 1WTC in the London skyline, right close to the Shard.

Buildings within 1WTC proximity:
4WTC:977'
7WTC:750'
GS:741'
WFC:740';645';577';500'
MHH:585'
One Liberty Plaza:738'

Buildings within The Shard proximity:
Well the picture says it all

Well, I'm not good at creating renders but I have a diagram comparison here. 1WTC is beautiful and tall, the Shard is ugly and small, for me there is absolutely no doubt which skyscraper I like more
