Yeah, good point. Have have often wondered how long New York will hang onto the 'New' Tag as well ? York is a place in Britain but the USA has many cities and towns named after old world places without putting 'New' in front of everything...tell that to Jersey across the Hudson as well !
(Just kidding.......I know you will always call NY NY !!!! )

hmmm Today is yet another anniversary of my last trip to New York. Gotta get back there sometime!

Tower steel topped out on floor 105 (1368 feet, excluding spire). Final roof steel and antenna platform being installed.
Facade installation is now above floor 83
Concrete is now being installed above floor 93
Installation of the 408-foot-tall telecommunications spire appx. Nov. 2012 to March 2013 (bringing total tower height to 1776 feet)
