Hollywood is American, so New York City and Los Angeles are the setting of more films than any other place in the world.

Some filmmakers, however, are starting to realize the brillance of Dubai (and its skyline) for action/sci-fi, starting with Mission Impossible IV.

Are the panes twice as tall or are there two rows of normal panes per large floor? There are horizontal beams half way up the floor that maybe are for glass.

Does anyone know why this article says it will be the highest observatory in the United States when the SkyDeck is the highest as 1,308 feet?
Many reporters forget to check up on their facts when they write their articles. I'm actually looking forward to the day when the US builds an actual skyscraper with higher floors than the Willis Tower.

Magatalls are not in the equation here in the United States it's all about building multiple supertalls around the same area,as for 1wtc i think it's a good design and a great addition to the New York skyline.

Just saw a nature valley commercial with 1WTC in the background. The sad part is that they edited out part of the tower so it only shows the glass facade

Why can't you spell 1 word right?? so ppl know you're not trolling? Half the time your words are spelled wrong, I don't even know what you're asking most the time.. proofread what you write.. So for the previous ? These Glass Panes should be twice as tall,,( with louvers?) as the Previous 88 floors,, Correct? Louvers for air flow, I had heard.

It would not look strange, once the tower is completed, you get inside the elevator that goes to the observation deck, and you see for example that once in floor 93 it skips directly to the 100 ? And just the 102 floor for the observation deck of 1 wtc, the same floor number as the tallest observatory of the esb, but taller in pov ? I would of liked to have this tower more real floors and not start the first floor as the 20th, and ended it with a higher floor number like 107 or 110.

I'm pretty sure that was done intentionally out of respect. Floors 94-99 were the impact floors in the original 1WTC, it would make sense that they'd omit those floor numbers.

I wonder if 2WTC will not have floors numbered 78-85...

(Look at the top row of glass)

Each row of new glass seems to look like that at one point or another.
