That's a great shot of the profile of the building. Once the antenna is fitted, it'll really look like the North Tower from this angle.

New York is one of these places that you have to be once on your life. I went there in 2007 and was really amazed how tall the skyscrapers are there (in my city, the tallest skyscrapers, that are only 2, they are about 40 stories). The empire state building was just huge, but at that moment, the steel of 1 wtc wasn't even at street level and none of his perimeter columns were installed. But now that 1 wtc has reached its final height to the rooftop i couldn't imagine how tall this tower would look in person.

I don't either but it's only because the skyline looks really ugly and boring from that angle

I am a sucker for cloudless skies. The skies on 9/11 are about as perfect as they get in my eyes. I am not a fan of dawn or dusk skylines.

However, fog has grown on me a lot. The banner last month of San Francisco in the fog was the best picture I have ever seen of the city. I would like this photo much more if there weren't gaps in the fog.

On topic: I am going to New York this fall and have been wondering: Will the spire be finished or almost finished, and will base cladding be completed? It seems they will be nearing completion then, but I am unsure.
