^Amazing pictures.1WTC looks bigger due to the tapering, but the originals looked more massive.

I can't wait for the lighting transformation like this on 1WTC.

I can't agree with that, the tower won't look as bright without the construction lights.

True, it doesn't really define the shape of the building...it just makes it stand out much more and be seen farther.

^ Yes,the reason I want the configured lighting is for a more defined looking tower at night.

Finally, confirmation that the cooling towers are in place. Now that those tiny mech floors are up there I consider the building to be truly topped out.

They aren't considered as mechanical floors, heck they even don't fit in the description of a floor. Even if they were counted, top of cooling towers is no higher than the parapet.

Quebec-built antenna to top World Trade Center in New York City

Quote:
TERREBONNE, QC—
The 137-metre crown of the rebuilt World Trade Center is about to embark on a muted farewell tour of the province in which it was built. Starting on Nov. 15 at the Port of Valleyfield, west of Montreal near the Quebec-Ontario border, nine hulking sections of an 18-piece antenna will be crane-loaded onto a barge. What follows will be a two-week voyage up the St. Lawrence River, past Montreal, Trois-Rivières, Quebec City and Rimouski. After a quick loop around the Gaspé and the northern coast of the remote Magdalen Islands the fruits of five years of precision cutting, drilling and fusing by the good men of Groupe ADF will push out into open waters.

Destination: New York City.

I found a program to record JPG images, so I set it to record earthcam's 1WTC, Memorial, and 3WTC cam, and save a picture once per week (Mondays) for 3 years.... Will look cool once 3 years pass....

That's true from an official standpoint, however I consider a theoretically occupiable interior space to be a floor if it is big enough, which the cooling towers are. Though in general it is not listed as a floor so you are right

so it is topped out now, since every source always says antenna instead of spire anymore. CTBUH should finally change the height downwards so that we can have the status being changed to topped out.
