Because it is 100% accurate. And it definitely does matter how new you are because his work goes back months

I think he was just referring to the spire that isn't scrapped in the rendering.
I agree with you guys though. This rendering is stunning. StR is one of my favorites.

I can't believe they changed the antenna, geez! in the last render the antenna ruins the whole tower ... the other one was much better

While I agree the old North Tower looks accurate, the other model isn't. PMad's model is way more accurate.

It being 100% accurate should not stop you from being polite. And that''s a stupid assumption to make, i could have been posting in this forum for months and genuinely not know who this guy is.

Well the design of the base changed so STR would need to fix that as well as the spire, communication ring, etc. Other than that his models are usually pretty accurate. These changes occurred after he showed us his model so he'll probably make some changes, perhaps when the Tower is finished or sooner so it's up to him really.

If you're going to spend $4 billion on a building , why would you take away the spire to save 20 mil? It really makes the building much less attractive.

i really dont think it looks all that bad, for me it just looks worse when they try to do the sunset and it looks rusty..i mean its not as good as the original design, but i dont think its the worst thing either
