I agree. I feel NY has one of the most balanced skylines in the world (IMO the most beautiful one with a mix of art deco and glass). I hate ridiculously tall buildings in the middle of nowhere, they are hideous.

Agreed, hate that Asian way of just building tall for the heck of it. That skyline was built for demand.

The difference is a completely different skyline with 2 more beautiful towers! unless you meant that they wouldn't be included in the picture because 1wtc is at the very end?

Why the cough?

1.) 432 PA is being built in a hyper dense area, surrounded by highrises and skyscrapers.
2.) The tower will be residential, it is being built because there is a actually a demand.
3.) Also there are / will be presales before the building is even finished, see One57 f.e..

This is the way NYC builds. And it's the right way.

Anyone have a reasonably accurate estimate on:

1) When base cladding will start?
2) The building will open?

Looking for something more specific than a season if possible. Thanks.
