This one kinda reminds me of the historic picture from Empire State construction.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

I would say this one's from about floor 90

And this one from about 50

I like those view pics although I'd say the first one is from more like floor 75 since floor 90 is 400 feet over the roof of tower 7.

I have decided to make a diagram for antenna and ring errection too. For comparison here is how it looks before there's any progress. According to the data I have the antenna will be 129 meters or 424 feet tall and the ring will be 15 meters or 50 feet tall

Roof height used below:

Um, that building won't have a spire and we still don't know the roof height other than that it will be above 1550 feet. As to who will hold the official title, that depends on what the CTBUH decides about 1WTC's antenna, though my bet is they will rule it an antenna and that means 1WTC will hold the CTBUH title only until 432 Park tops out

I asked a couple of months ago I asked about the glass cladding on the first 180 ft. Seems the originally planned glass panels failed the hammer test. Does anyone know if they're still going to use the prismatic glass?

They are using fins of glass against a metal backdrop, which will be illuminated at night.

The base will also be a perfect cube instead of having champhered edges.

Nordstrom tower? I can't find that anywhere in the SSp, or SSC,, Or is it just a tenant on a very high floor, of 1 of the supertalls.

Sounds about right. Going from Denver (5,000 ft) to Breckenridge (10,000) the temp typically drops 15-20 degrees.
