Can We Please Get Back On Topic About 1 wtc.

This is it folks. The month we've all waited for, base cladding to begin, first antenna sections going up, should be exciting!

^ You truly don't have a sense on vectors

It's closer to the river doesn't suffice.

The Chinese built towers look so out of place there, although maybe 2 IFC (Hong Kong), wouldn't look too bad.

I'd love to see 1WTC with a twin brother, maybe they'll consider it in the future. 'Freedom Towers' sounds pretty neat to me. On saying that, there's no room for it apart from in the footprint of the North tower.

Naturally any future proposal would depend on how people feel about the space ten or twenty years from now, and whether it's actually technically feasible (not sure what's running underneath that area). If they went ahead, the current building would become the North tower, and the newly built twin would be the South tower (and the numbering on all the others will be a bit messed up, but hey).

4 WTC is almost 1000 ft. The Shanghai WFC isn't twice as tall as that. If you're going to edit something in at least pay attention to the surroundings.

going back on topic.

None of you know how to behave. This thread always veers off topic. If you don't like someone's photo's or editing skills, good for you but don't be rude.

The Ping An financial tower would work... would look absolutely amazing, not sure if it would fit in Manhattan though. Maybe where the Hudson Yards are being built?

Neither of those 2 ST or SWFC would look good in this city.. In my opinion Jin Mao could be pulled-off, but I think it would look better in midtown, architecture and concrete, although it does have an asain look. But this is 1WTC and I pray 2 gets built, that's the sleekest and favorite of mine.
