I don't get the point of adding a 276 feet high sphere..just to make the building taller than others. It's pointless

The diagram is very well made though you forgot to add the spandrels on the top of the parapet and the cooling towers. Also, 417 m is 1368 feet. But that are just details, it is an awesome diagram, thank you for posting

The north most crane also has bars on the hook with the tie offs, for some reason they don't attach them on the load but instead on the hook

Still don't understand what's going on up there, as far as which section that is, and why they seem to be attaching to to a concrete platform well above the roof if it is the base. Or are they just placing it there temporarily? Here are some screencaps:

that is just a steel platform for storage of the antenna sections and for holding the antenna errection crane. Though I dunno how exactly they gonna proceed in errecting it

Its as if they are storing a few pieces there while installing one section, then the other goes up so there is a constant flow of pieces.

Its to create lag in the work. Two crews, one erecting, one detailing.

Load up enough pieces to erect for a couple days, in turn creating a couple days of detailing, during which time you load up more pieces.

Its cheaper to have two cranes and two crews working at the same time, efficiently.

The antenna is hideous. The Port Authority ditched the original design just to save some money, but the cost reduction from changing a gorgeous spire to an ugly antenna is really insignificant compared to the entire project cost. Why didn't they solicit donations to honor the original design? I assume lots of companies, organizations or individuals would've donated. Millions of New Yorkers probably would've helped. I personally don't mind giving one or two hundred bucks. They even could've named the spire after the biggest donor, for instance, the Goldman Sachs Spire or the Exxon Mobil Spire. But now it's too late.
