Well said.
What's more, I'll bet these same people don't get all precious when they're copying other well-known pictures that they didn't take to post elsewhere.

I bet they only take Monday and Tuesday off, if that. I'm guessing some work will get done even on Monday.

IrishInNYC wrote over at WiredNY that lifting of the mast pieces is shifted, probably to the first week of January.

He also uploaded some more detail pics of the mast pieces, for those who are interested: http://wirednewyork.com/forum/showth...=3672&page=863

Well over here in Slovakia the holidays last 1,5 weeks and many extend them to 2 weeks. Only the weekend + Monday and Tuesday seems like a very short pause.

Or when they're illegally downloading music, movies, and TV shows that record labels, movie studios, and production companies spent millions on making and marketing.

Copying is one thing but re posting as your own work on youtube or anywhere else is complexly different. At the least you should give credit to the artist.
I run around NYC with equipment and a tripod then process the images so that people around the world can see what is going on here, many have never been here and like to see what it is like.
I don't know what you do for a living but I am certain you do not do it for free and my images are for sale but please do not re post with out proper credit as you have done the work.

Never mind, I thought it might have been a big load spreader, but another similar piece is being lowered now. Might be mast pieces or other parts from the south crane that was recently dismantled.

What will happen is the better question. And that is Christmas. Or Festivus if you prefer. Plus New Years. Care to air out some grievances?

I would assume it's the weather. I live about 2.5 hours south of NYC in PA and its pretty bad here with very gusty winds and its tracking right over NYC.

Plus its Christmas time...these guys deserve a break

Uhm I don't believe I was complaining so before you start with the attitude I'd re read what I said, all I was doing was asking what happened because it was supposed to be yesterday or today, simply curious.

Here in the U.S., we get less time off than just about anywhere else in the world, especially Europe. Japan my be worse off than us, though.
