I'm disappointed by the way it looks from the Hoboken Waterfront. You can't see the true height from that perspective for some reason, it looks not as tall from there. I personally think it looks it's tallest from out on Long Island near Breezy Point/Belle Habror, as well as from 25-45 miles out in Western NJ and far southern NJ in the pine barrens

But iirc the 1368 figure of 1WTC is measured from the same elevation from which the 1368 of the North Tower was measured. That would mean that the roof of the two 1WTCs is in an identical elevation. however, I'm still not exactly sure about the elevations. Could somebody who knows about this plz let me know? from what I know atm the old Twins' height was measured from the lower west entrance, not from the main entrance on the old WTC plaza, am I right?

1368 is tall period. when your at street level and look up once you get over like 1000 feet it all looks the same lol

I am confused, did 2 wtc have a height change? If not it is 1359ft, thats it height even if YOU dont count a spire. 1368FT is very tall, taller than any building in 5 of the 7 continents. It will be the tallest building(not structure) to tip in the western hemisphere. Not too bad. Again, what made the twins so special? That there were two of them. Nothing more. Take the new towers individually and they are infinitly better. The twins were special because they were the tallest, unless you want to build two 2800ft twin towers, it cannot be achieved again. The new towers respected the skyline while also not backing down. I think you are a bit spoilt when it comes to height, many cities dont even have a skyscraper.

I think it looks the best, coming out of the Lincoln Tunnel. That's the best view of the city bar none.

Each tower is also thiner and contain less floors than the old WTC, providing less office space. This new complex is only an improvement in safety design, everything else is underwhelming.

So tower 3,4,7 have less floors? Every tower is far superior in design to the originals.
