The base looks so odd and a bit scary now that the base isn't covered, should we see the first bit of base cladding, perhaps next week?

I think the first mast section will go in soon, I saw a post by IrishInNYC today that I missed previously, saying that for what ever reason the placement was cancelled in December and it might take place either tonight, or sometime during next week. Unfortunately, there is nothing to support this. It looks like they are staging a rapid fire instillation so that when they get a window they'll quickly install them. fingers crossed.

Sounds great. He's very reliable, so I don't doubt it one bit.

Winds were higher than expected during December. Cranes will be used for hoisting MEP equipment to the upper plenum during the coming days, no mast erection until Mid-January.

---
As stated before, curtain wall won't go higher until plenum louvers are installed. Podium glass is expected to begin during the next weeks, some louver panels at the base plenum have been removed to allow crews assist the installation of the podium enclosure (you can see the temporary inner catwalks were the Permasteelisa crews will be standing on some of the previous photos)

So mast erection could possibly begin next Thursday? If so, that's excellent. Hopefully January will be a good month.
