Quite frankly I could care less about public streets, in fact I think it's a much better (and safer) plan...also, what is the deal with the antenna, will it start this month or Spring?

If you examine this render VERY closely, then the slotted glass should start at the current row.
Sorry if this is a HUGE picture, this one is very detailed.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. I agree, it will be better without all the traffic. Manhattan has enough traffic, and I would never be bold enough to actually drive in or around the WTC (or anywhere in Manhattan) myself.

The new glass is rather strenge but it does not resemble the slots in the render so I'm a bit puzzled as to what this is

Why did they exclude the buildings that aren't build yet from the grounddesign?

Ah, they are slotted after all.

Workers have been gradually covering the antennae mast/spire pieces with white plastic. Maybe, just maybe, they are painting them. But I doubt it.

So they were slotted, awesome. I'm happy that I was wrong, I waited so long for the slotted glass to start. It means that topping out of the glass will follow soon

The slots look nice. It's breaks up the monotony of the glass a bit. Thanks for the photo Ken!
