So they've been preparing themselves to finish the sloted glass shortly after it started, and they don't plan to be as slow as they were until now, that's awesome news

It al relies on weather conditions, the Benson crew had problems with wind during last weeks, which prevented them to continue their work, hoping wind speed will stay low during the coming weeks.

I think it's being lowered into place, but can't tell for sure.

Are they able to work during rain, if the wind is light? Forecast is wet:

It can be dangerous to work under rain conditions, specially on the plenums were the working space is different than on office floors -not to mention rain can easily get in the working surfaces due to the sloping faces of the building, hopefully nature will cooperate.

I don't know why but the slotted glass is looking so good even though there are just a few bits of it! I didn't expect it to look so great!

I agree. It really livens up the look of the building.

When should we see the first pieces of cladding on the base, and I thought the glass couldn't continue until some type of louvers were installed. The slotted glass looks great.

OK...those slots going into the glass facade now. I guess they are still glass but just an architectural flourish ? I don't mean that in a negative way as overall they add to the impression of the tower. I just wonder what is different about the glass ? It is not open slots over so many floors.......

They are for the mechanical floors. I believe it has something to do with ventilation.
