Looks like new scaffolding is going in at the SE corner on the KPI cam in preparation of base panel setting.

What's the problem? The name of this tower is also shortened by everyone to 1WTC.

"1WTC" is less confusing than "157" anyway...So...what the hell is "157"?? C'mon people, is not THAT exhausting to write 5 letters instead of 3 and (e.g.) help new forumers to understand what building we are refering to.

Nope, they changed the north crane today to a two part cable system

I might have to find time to add these to my antenna mast model, thanks. It looks like the section on the right has a transition zone, for lack of a better term. It looks like it has a section that gets narrower a few feet up from the the end that we are looking at and the same is seen on the far side of the left piece. What I'm saying is that the end facing the camera on the left piece is the top end and the end we see on the right one is the bottom that sits on top of the end we are seeing on the left piece.

I think the ESB has a perfect flow all the way to the roof. Wish they could have tapered the building so it looks more like a point. "I know it's impossible now" but 20 more floors of tapering would make the mast look much more dominate.. I know some of you will blaze me 4 this quote but look how cool ESB and Chrysler look.

Wow it must be a breath taking view when you're on top of that tower.

Y'know what would make it even more dominating than that?
200 more floors of tapering.
Oh well

it would need setbacks if it were tapered more, which completely alters the design.

Don't know if it's an urban legend, but it was claimed that, with binoculars, the Twins could be seen from a hilltop in Northeast Maryland, over 100 miles away.
