The twins made the skyline look much more collected and organized. The new complex looks much toO scattered around.

Yes we know, the Twins were the best in the world and nothing can replace them, ever. The new complex is inferior and lacks the "great architecture" of the former WTC. Did I get that right?

On topic: I really like those glass panels on the mechanical floors. They add a certain touch.

That image of the original twins brings a tear to my eye. What a beautiful building. I love the new ones though. Its a great thing because instead of judging which one is better, we can say they are both beautiful buildings and not forget what was there before.

Anyway, when will the glass be topped out? That will be an amazing site to have the building almost complete.

I wasn't going to say anything, but the pic of the Twins is my all time favorite as well. I finally found that view large enough for a wallpaper yesterday. I'll post a larger version of the new WTC as well that you may like even better. I spent over an hour listening to some music and looking at the first photo yesterday, so I figured I should post it. Listen to this song once while you look at the photo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izGwDsrQ1eQ. It's heartbreaking how related the lyrics are to the Twins...

I've been told curtain wall will reach completion by the end of May and mast by end of March.

What is "great" about two hideous boxes? These new towers blow them out of the water.

I thought there would be some crowd or something when I read your post.
They are early with these. I thought they were busy with the spire and would add these things in the end. But they are here already.

Those "hideous boxes" are where thousands died. Those "Hideous boxes" were icons, show some respect.
