Guess that was the case. Thanks.

From wtcprogress,

"One WTC’s curtain continues rising each week, now reaching the 93rd floor."

I've never been to North America but when I go, I'll definitely head for New York in priority...

Though, although I love 1WTC, I'll always miss the twin towers, they were so iconic, so New York...

Those who will occupy the upper floors of WTC has massive balls, after what happened with those 9/11 jumpers of the original WTC which the majority of them came from those upper floors.

I hope shit like that won't happen again.

I don't want to stray off topic here, but it's VERY, VERY unlikely. We have to remember how radically the airport security changed all over the world after 9/11. Another attack would have to involve some kind of rocket/enormous amount of c4, and I'm pretty sure the US defense system is prepared for such things.

No, the true NYC skyline is the old one with ESB, Chrysler and all the Downtown Art Deco towers (70 Pine, 40 Wall etc.).

Actually, I also feel like visiting our canadian friends...Canada is a very beautiful country as well. Some friends of mine have been to Québec & Montréal & really enjoyed it...Us french are used to teasing the french speaking canadians with their very funny accent & expressions (they also do the same with us besides), they're really nice & warm people...but I'm also very interested in the english speaking part of Canada, Toronto (among others) looks really appealing too...we'll see in the near future, but first of all I'm dying to go & visit your Big Apple...

What you are seeing there at the very bottom of the base is masonry forming the final footprint, what appears to be black is nothing more than waterproofing.

Hopefully podium enclosure will begin next week.
