This is correct. A model of the building I bought at the ESB observation deck last summer has the 1454 ft height written at the base. The height on the diagram that slsc posted needs to be changed.

I guess I'm kinda confused why are they putting windows in the slots? What do they need them 4 if they're just going to be sealed like the rest of the bldg? I thought they had something to do with wind control, and exhaust? I don't quite understand why, unless they intend to put in screened in panels?

Windows in the slots?

Yep, probably something temporary to keep wind/rain/snow out (and workers in) while they work inside.

I still don't think the rig can reach the top of the antenna. If it can't I wonder if they will erect the Link Belt we thought was going up there to begin with

I'm confident it will be fairly if not very well noticeable unlike what most think will be to thin.

The first ones were placed in no time. But now come the parts above the guy wires which are harder to place because they have to build scaffolding on it.

I guess that after they put the section 8, or maybe 9, it will pass some time before we see another one, since they have to install the anchor wires.

As I understand all the pieces are already there, the bigger ones were shipped and the smaller ones were transported by truck, at least I think I read that, Is that right?

With the new section installed, the Tower is now 1,495' 10" and 1,501' 6" from the Vesey St. Entrance. Looking good.
