I don't know why, but it kinda reminds me the Enterprise deflector dish

There for ventilation purposes.

And with #11 installed, 1WTC is now 1,566 feet tall!

Looks like the permanent platform is on the top of the piece being installed. It is also the diameter of the radome... Sigh.

Just went to Fort Nonsense, & got some long distance shots. Too hazy to see details especially the antenna but I'll post them soon!

Because it doesn't take much time to just bolt the pieces together. And they already have them ready, so why not go fast?

In those last distance pics it's easy to imagine how the finished tower will look. Amazing.
Also, base cladding is far too.

Who cares about the quick pace I'm loving it. If they could get enough progress in one day so that the Tower opened tomorrow I'm all for it. Sure it's not going to happen but I love when this building has progress. The Tower just has over 200' to go before topping out completely. I want to see more pics of the base cladding.

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what the base cladding is even supposed to look like. Does anybody have renders?

Okay here they are guys, sorry it's so hazy but if it weren't for the blazing edge I woud have had trouble taking photos of it! I'll take a lot more on the clearer days

These were taken from Fort Nonsense, in Morristown, NJ 24 miles out

I spy.......

Increased the contrast so you can see the details a bit better. The cranes, and even the antenna, can be seen if you look closely.

That reflection.
It even looks a bit fat because you can only see the top half.

Great pics. The cladding looks definately better in these pics than on the cams.
