So dont do anything stupid that would piss him off. Hes one of the more reasonable mods on here (and some of them are VERY unreasonable), so if he bans you its because you were repeatedly doing something you shouldnt have been.

I bought it in 2011 2 weeks before they stopped manufacturing them. It's 14 Megapixel's and has a 35X Optical Zoom, I believe the longest zoom on a camera that is a point and shoot at the time. That is why I can get such great zoom shots. It's a great camera.
Camera with the longest zoom is the latest canon with 50x

The base cladding is great, but the contrast to the tower cladding is too stark IMO. The difference could have been more fluid.

Yes I know, that is why I said at the time it was the longest. The Canon point and shoot camera with 50X zoom came out 2 years after my camera did.

I have no clue why the wood, maybe it is because they need to keep the weather out, maybe they are waiting for materials, I just hope they don't leave it like that.

Renderings by the architects at SOM of the newly approved pleated glass base of the renovated One World Trade Center. The premise behind the new design is a shatter proof base that will be LED illuminated at night.
I've seen some people say this base is the worst in history but i absolutely disagree. Isn't this base the best, indeed?

In that render the difference between base cladding and normal glass is far less noticable than in real.

No, it isn't the best base in history. At best it is just boring, and at worst it is gaudy. If the LEDs turn out looking like the one sample picture we've seen, it will look like a Christmas tree.

I'm also not a fan of the corrugated metal look behind the fins. Looks like I went and polished up pieces of my quonset hut.

The game, World in Conflict, takes place in the late 1980s during the Cold War. It's a good game if you like real time strategy.

Was the cancelled base popular unlike this one?
Is this base such a matter of distaste because it replaced the cancelled one or the plain reason is it really looks awkward?
And which base is actually popular in NYC???

There is no real deadline. The snow and wind have been pretty bad in NYC in the past few weeks and if they have to finish in April then they will do just that. I expect the spire to still be finished by the end of March, personally.
