Maybe they mark windows that have to be replaced for a reason?

There are 3 rows of glass between the observation deck and the top row of the vents, correct? I'm trying to base that off of Otie's model and squirrel83's picture.

I think that because the windows must be placed without another one above it, those windows must have been damaged and replaced in a special way that requires those bolts.

Friends! This is not something I knew all the while and thinking there're probably some who are not acquainted with what i have posted, I found it a "I-must-do" thing:
Extracted from: http://nyc-architecture.com/?p=1953
Quote:
A new landmark is currently being built in New York: the One World Trade Center. The corners of the skyscraper’s facade will be edged with stainless steel made in Germany.
ThyssenKrupp Nirosta (Krefeld) produced the material at its Dillenburg plant using a customized rolling and heat treatment process. Partner company Christian Pohl GmbH (Cologne) fabricated this high quality material into complex facade elements for the corners of the One World Trade Center, some 250 tonnes in total.
A render from the same site:

Quote:
The building will have 2.6 million square feet of rentable space, the gross square footage is 3.5 million square feet.

I was wondering about the diagram because it shows that there is base cladding on the opposing side of the south entrance. Do you or anybody have pictures to confirm this?
