Guess it's too late for that.
That design was disgusting.

sure, no problem, I never said you should not like it, just stated that I agree with the ones who dont like it. And I hope that in the near future something will be done to cover up this antenna with something more appealing that will actually stand as an architectural element, as a fitting crown to one of the most important buildings in NYC.

The communication's ring is really taking shape and the NE side of the base is now squared off.

there is an ob deck.. and whats the big deal with a square base..seriously your going to judge a 1368ft building by the 20 ft or whatever base?

Well things happen, plans change...this is nothing new in construction especially when your dealin with so many different entities...especially the union that take forever to get anything done. But that's besides the point, I think they tried to glamorize the site to much(of course we want it to be beautiful and it is but I don't think they knew what they were getting into money wise) hence over designing the place and going way over budget which is why they have to make certain changes, are the ones they made the best ones...no. Could they have maybe made changes to other parts of the site, sure and they did. We're getting what were getting and everyone will deal because there's nothing anybody can do. Also there is and always has been an observation deck, and there will be a restaurant, not like what was in the North Tower but there will be something, and btw I hope this didn't come off rude just giving my 2cents
