It has been for some time now. Waiting for the other sections in between.

I'm aware! It's still just so cool to see it right there.

I remember walking down this same street in 1984 on my way to the WTC for the first time. The view was better then.

Quick question, how long does it normally take for the workers to start installing the permanent lighting inside the tower?

That's work for the fit-out guys. Lighting specifications will be almost identical but the arrangement varies according to what the tenant needs.

Does anyone feel this is an ugly highrise? or just me? The bulk on the base, the brutal transfer in the body and the small head on the top.

Just you. Even if mast change isn't the best re-design, the rest of the building is still good.

This is really looking amazing, the rings are also not looking that bad already and there's what, 2 left to do or 1? I can't remember but all in all the spire/mast and rings are looking so much better then the renders. Thank god!

Exactly my thoughts! The best angle possible in my opinion. Just a few little gaps to fill and you have a great concrete mountain

Alan on Skyscraperpage has said work will resume once the communications rings are done so probably in the next few weeks we should see the spire finish off, I'm guessing mid-end of April
