Nuts to see how much the tower has changed since then. So big now, so small then

It was still very tall there, look at it next to the 750ft 7wtc.

The last of the black netting is coming down! Another small, but significant milestone reached soon! Now we can clearly see the 5 remaining floors to be clad!

I think the look of 1 WTC in 432 P.A. render deserves a big round of applause!

Poor, ESB. Few more years and it's going to be surrounded by taller buildings. That render would have look great with the Hudson Yard buildings.

Found a render!
All credit goes to sbarn, on SSP.

In the Render NYCrulz posted: like icontroversyx said if hudson yards buildings get built or if could be seen in the renders there will be midtown, lower manhattan and hudson yards: three separate and dense skyscraper clusters.
I'm loving NYC.

Aren't the Hudson Yards part of Midtown?

That's because the 3D studio is producing the visualization job for both projects, those guys deserve an applause for the extraordinary endeavor they've been doing on every project.

Since we've been reminiscing, this is how One WTC looked in June 2012:

Wow, that picture is more American then apple pie. The statue of liberty, the space shuttle, 1wtc, and 4wtc. Not sure how many pictures of the 4 together in one picture are out there. Very few I would suspect with no more chances to see it again..

During the next summer, I can remember my younger sister and I looking at the clock on our VCR at night while watching TV, and saying "Look Mommy, it's 9:11," without an idea in the world what it meant. It breaks my heart again and again not being able to remember, and I always try to shake it, but it comes back. I can't even explain how it feels to know so much about a day that is one of the most influential in my life, and not be able to even remember it. How can I forget something I can't even remember?
I know exactly how you feel. I was 5 on 9/11. I was getting ready for kindergarten, but I did know something bad was going on, but didn't know what exactly. No one mentioned anything at school, probably the right idea since we were only in kindergarten. I wish I remember more...

I was 6, we watched it on TV and had to evacuate the school. That was back when I lived in the US

guys, it's depressing to talk about 9/11. How about we continue the discussion on 1 WTC?
