Those platforms on the spire are temporary, right?
If so, that's too bad because I actually think the platforms give the spire some bulkiness and it doesn't look as tiny.

Most of them are, the ones with the silver railings are permanent, all the rest are not.

Not the best quality, but from this angel you can see that the blue netting is gone in some parts... first time I saw that steel since it was first put up in july...

I really don't like how 1 wtc looks from earth cam skyline veiw 1 wtc just looks odd to me.

Here are some photos from my holiday to New York, these were taken on August 2nd and I realised that during the morning, during my ferry trip to the Statue of Liberty, they added the blue netting, so it's fitting that I post the pics as it's finally coming down!

the tapering effect is the most obvious from that view, i never liked that angle, but it will be one of the best once the rest of the complex is finished.
