Nice shots! I'd like to be the man on the top of the spire on the first pic!

Btw, little off topic but is still the Brooklyn Bridge being repainted?
I remember in November 2011, when I was there, it was already being repainted!!

Is section 12 still on deck? "literally". Haven't seen it sitting up there in awhile?

I have a feeling they aren't able to go any higher on the spire until the cable anchors are in place. Just a guess.

Maybe they want/have to finish the 3 rings before going higher, it must be more comfortable for them to work on it with the crane.

I am really liking the look of this building even though it has a simple design. Maybe it is because of the glass?!! And the slits on the top maybe one of them.

From WTC Progress Facebook: Beacon light for One WTC spire.

Anyone can give me an idea of how big this beacon is? 'cause it seems a little bit small in the photo...

My guess for the cladding is mid May. I'd have to say give it 6 weeks.

^If winds cooperate the most optimistic date for completition is mid May, there's a deadline of getting the enclosure done before Memorial Day.

IF they ever built it higher, it would be 2001 feet, thats what the original design was suppose to be, 2001 feet.

Let's hope we do indeed have good weather. Springs tend to have some of the best weather.
