Yup, I get exactly the same feeling as you when I watch such comparative pics

The point of view is slightly different so 1wtc looks taller

Looks more imposing indeed. Too bad the antenna is so tiny, seems even more tiny than the North Tower's antenna. Otherwise it would be even more dominating.

True, I like the fact that 4 is on it's own now, so it balances the skyline more.

Apparently the tappering causes a "forced perspective" effect. That and the fact that there's not an identical tower sitting right next to it.

I think the tapering top of the new tower makes it look taller despite the same roof height...

Looks like some cladding has just been done on the final floor. The parapet is the only completely un-clad section left on the tower.

Thanks for the pic update Ken, I see another antenna piece went up so I have updated my diagram. The pinnacle height of the building should now be 508 meters or 1666 feet

Roof height used below

It hasn't been installed yet. It's only on the platform.

Wow, great job! 2WTC is really hard to draw, and you did really well with it.

I didn't really pay attention to scale, because I didn't find it important for what I was going for. Not just Flatiron, none of the buildings are to scale one to another.

Thank you. It looks like a pencil from a far, it's really difficult to draw the diamonds so that they are visible without overdoing it.
