A lot of bandwagoners now that it's even more beautiful than thought. A bunch of you who criticized it are suddenly acting like it was always your #1 haha

Not me. It's still ugly as sin.

But I'll be overjoyed when it's finally finished.

I meant a classy restaurant like Windows on the world, not some quick stop restaurants.

Actually a more affordable restaurant as part of the Observatory that we ALL can enjoy, not just the hoidy-toidy set, I think is a much better idea!!

Its much nicer to have a classy restaurant at the top of a supertall. One similar to that at the top of the Hancock tower in chicago.

I'll ask this again, looking at the pictures on the previous page, HOW WOULD THEY JUMP THE CRANES? I'm no crane expert, but maybe one needs to chime in.

My best guess would be that one crane disassembles the top of the other, adds more booms, replaces the top, and the other does the same for it. Just my two cents.

People don't want to mentally engage in any kind of conversation anymore. It's as if everyone has been conditioned to just blindly accept this or that. And if you dare dissent at all you're labeled and intimidated into silence by the mindless majority.

Yeah I thought about that but then the more I thought about it, that seems like a lot of work instead of just adding another section when they installed the crane on the platform. My guess is it will be able to do it without adding anything else. I just can't see them not pre-calculating the height needed to install the entire mast when they installed the cranes. Looking at the pictures of the beacon housing, I actually can't wait to see how they will lift it into place. The only places I can see where they can lift it, is from the loops directly under the actual beacon. I hope the cams are up when they do this

As I said earlier, it would not surprise me to see them employ a "Sky-crane" helicopter to lift the last remaining pieces and the cranes themselves are done with their work save for the remaining rings construction.
