I thought they'd put cables in place before installing the last pieces...

from the memorial park, the base cladding blends well with the rest of the tower.

It does blend nicely in general haha some people don't realize certain cameras are what's making it look green, I see it in person almost every day, not green at all

....The more I see one WTC taking shape, near completion, the less I understand any kind of criticism because for me it's gonna be simply AMAZiNG!!(especially without that ugly radom)
Also,I'm very surprised that just a few people realize how beautiful is tower 4 that minimalist jewel!!

3D printed 1 WTC

Hello everyone,

I have made a 3D model of 1 WTC and had it 3D printed. Unfortunately I had to thicken the antenna to prevent it from breaking. But I must say I like it standing on a cabine like this.

I also installed a LED strip that gives it a nice look when it's dark:

Please tell me what you think.

It looks GREAT, I would actually love to buy one...

Is there a way I can buy one?

Isn't JJ Abrams one of the creators of Lost? I just finished up Season 4 yesterday and it was awesome.

My concern is not really what the antenna looks like, it's more of the sheer height of it.
In my opinion, it's just way too tall. To much. To me, it's height looks disproportional with the building.

I think the antenna looks okay. It would have been nice if it could have been covered in a thinner encasing, rather than the fat spire that we were about to get.

At least 40 miles out I won't have to squint too hard and try to make out what is the WTC and what is a tree or distant oil rig with the horizontal lighting right? I would imagine on a clear night you can see the light with the naked eye?

Nice! Do you have other models? You could present it to us in the "scale models" section of the forum! (Models are essentially made of paper but not only)
