That's excellent, but I think thats enough renders for now. It's ruining the excitement of actually seeing it in person when it's done

In scale models section it would be fine. I think a mod will move it).

As someone already asked on the previous page, the workers do it by hand

Here you can see how they install the panels. I think they just use a little crane (but not one of the 2 big for sure):

I knew it by a member who posted it in this thread a long time ago (when they cladded 84th floor) but I don't remember who it is.

EDIT: It's Desertpunk (as usual ), I edited my post.

I know most of us are excited to see 1 WTC fully clad and topped out, but making a render of it fully complete is like opening a gift before christmas. Why not just wait until it's fully clad and topped out in real life? It's only a few weeks away

Holy crap, if you look closely(seriously) you can actually see 4WTC but it's FREAKING blending in with the sky! :o
Talk about a manmade chameleon.
Right above the tree, but you'll have to zoom in to make out the details of the facade. Maki is a true genius!

If the CTBUH wants to keep their credibililty, they will have to take the measurement from the lowest entrance, according to their criteria. For now, I guess they are listing the official height at 1776 ft. until they make that big decision. Gotta stay politically correct as long as you can get away with it, I guess.

Maybe only the light will be at 1776ft. Is it possible?

It's not like CTBUH has a super duper measuring stick. lol. There is really no way for them to actually measure a skyscraper instead they rely on the builders/ architecture plans and If the builder wants the building to be a symbolic 1776 ft then the builder will just have to doctor up the plans and submit it to CTBUH to reflect 1776ft even though in reality the trade center would be 1790 something ft. lol

Thanks for the info

One small question more if I may, is the elevation, from which the old North Tower's 417m/1368ft were measured the same from which 1WTC's roof of 417m/1368ft is measured, or is it the same from which 1WTC's roof of 419m/1374ft is measured (lowest entrance), or is it a different elevation altogether?

I wish I could tell you, but I don't have access to any detailed section drawings of the Twin Towers. I have always wondered if they should have included the escalator housing in the height of the South Tower.
