Another crane piece! This last piece must be huge!

Are they gonna put Piece 16 (Or is it 17?) and the beacon on at the same time?

A great build for a great city. Can't wait to see the whole world trade center complex when it is complete.

When it's that close to the horizon it actually gets stretched out from our perspective

Although I am hanging out for total top out as much as anyone. Seeing glass is close it would be nice to see the pinnicle arrive atop a fully glassed obelisk. ...Then we could all just gasp.....ahhhhh beautiful mate !

Why is there so many news sources saying the last piece was placed on top?

Wow...I guess my question is answered. That's 41 miles away and I've been wondering how it looks from 38 miles as the crow flies assuming the elevation is there. You can see it clear as day wow and everything else. How zoomed in was it though? I feel like it must look wayyyy further than that from 40 miles...must have been ultra zoomed right? Not naked eye?

Anyway, I was just on a Bolt bus going to and from the city and I saw the WTC from the LIE around exit 14...wow does this thing dominate the skyline. It's almost like this big hulking thing that casts a shadow over you and you have to look up to see what it is. Just comes off as a very proud building. Even from Queens on the bus it looked like it reached the clouds. For those who don't live in the area, pictures are deceptive...you have to see the thing in person to understand how big it is!

Yeah it's 40 miles as the crow flies, but of course the view never looks the same from a camera as it does in person. It would appear a lot smaller but still visible to the naked eye

I'm going the third week of July. You should consider going then and we might could meet up. Don't worry, I wouldn't go all Norman Bates on you. . In all seriousness, it'd be sweet to meet another former .
