Yes but that's an old debate, there are pages and pages about new twin in this thread, that's enough.

This building is my favorite building out of all building all over the world. Tall, dominant, glassy and elegant.

HD cam, the beacon section is being lifted! A cloud has come in for the moment though!

Holy crap that bare antenna looks awful!

If I ever win a $300 million lottery jackpot, I pledge to donate up to $10 million to get the radome installed on the antenna, and up to $10 million on an ad campaign dedicated to shaming and destroying Durst.

And I bet 90% or more of casually-interested New Yorkers don't even realize yet that the antenna isn't going to be covered.

The cranes just changed position, but I see no sign of the beacon. I'm sure there will be another press release before it is placed on top.

Congratulations, you are literally the 100th person to mention your distaste for the antenna.

Yeah, good luck doing both of those. Durst is the one who calls the shots.

Don't donate part if your winnings! Durst will just pocket it. Me think you hate the SPIRE so much is because of your strong distaste for Durst . Don't blame you tho.

That's what I was saying. I checked Earthcam and didn't see it up there, and then saw those old pics which led me to believe it had been lowered again. Must have been hiding somewhere.

Crazy base cladding progress on the base's East side today. It's nearly 50% complete now!
