I kind of feel split between the two. Besides, If we have to wait ten years for a 2WTC that isn't value engineered, so be it. I think it will make One World Trade Center stand out long enough to become a lone symbol of the rebuilding then, eventually it will be joined by a sister. Also, I'm pretty sure that 2WTC is by far the widest tower from east to west, correct me if I'm wrong, but from the north it might completely block towers 3 and 4. I'll be happy either way I guess.

It looks like only 1 row of glass to go from each angel.

Took pictures of the skyline from Morris County last night, crystal clear night so I could see all the way to the Verrazano Bridge. I'll post them soon!

I feel the exact same way. 2WTC adds a really futuristic element to the complex, so I don't want its design to be changed despite a longer wait. I think it'll be nice seeing it eventually join the others, though.

A crow??? I want WTC 2, I think it would feed off 1 just perfectly. 2 looks like, a futuristic beauty (something outta futuristic sci-fi movie), 3 looks great too, but If "I" had a choice, 2 would go up next, 3 without it's cross bracing just looks somewhat plain, (but I love the 4 spires on the corners).. Just an opinion..Ah F-it build them all including #5. All to original design and that would be the best cluster of scrapers anywhere. Way OT but, but if he thinks it looks like a Crow,,, I think 1WTC looks like Kareem Abdul Jabbar, and WTC2 would look like Brittney Grinder, a match made in heaven....

This might be a silly ? but is the Lightning rod been attached or was it already on there while erecting the Beacon?

Am I seeing things in the second photo from the top...cause I see what appears to be a gothic/old world style, brown building to the left of the falls, within the memorial site itself. Does anyone know what this is or when it was built? I'm looking at other photos of the memorial and that building is not there in any of them....

That's not the tower he meant; he was looking at the top of 74 Trinity Place. The brown skyscraper with the bridge to the back of Trinity Church.

In the second photo, it looks like the top is a building on itself in the Memorial

Yep, its part of the beacon.
This is just an early model of the frame, but its the rod on top and its actually pretty thick.

I don't see that brown gothic building in this picture, I think both of you are referring to two entirely different buildings

And how could that building be connected to Trinity Church..? The church is east of the site

He meant the Trinity Court Building, and the tall building in the foreground is the Bank of New York Building.

I have no idea whats going on, but 74 Trinity pl is connected to the church with a pedestrian bridge last time I checked . And I'm also quite sure the person asking the question in the first place was referring to 74 Trinity pl.
