The mirror has to be kept this way for the scenes to be seen that way.
Oh Shit!! but in opposite direction.

I thought of that, but the amount that the buildings (say 60 Wall Street) protrude from behind other buildings is the exact same. I think the photographer photoshopped 40 Wall Street and 70 Pine Street out for some pointless reason...

So what!! Should forumers stop posting such pictures for the mere reason that it will draw the issue back and forth??
As long as we take hold of the bridle, that debate won't go on...

Oh no! Y would he do that? There's no point in him doing that.
The other reason is LM is not exactly opposite to the mirror, I guess and that literally happens.

For photoshop the mirror is always perpendicular to our eyes theoretically.

If you look really closely (and I mean REALLY closely) you can see 2 lights just to the right of the Woolworth Building on the left. If you look to the right, you can tell those 2 lights belonged to 70 Pine Street.

1WTC getting lost in the clouds.
The effect of the first pic looks almost supernatural, like taken from a SciFi movie.

Hey Lanier, that was really an eagle-eyed observation...

Shiny, elegant and an iconic figure. Isn't that the most beautiful building of all time?

Greetings from Switzerland!

oh my God, What a dazzling view of th WTC1 seen from the bay. Congratulations not only to New Yorkers, but also to all american people. You guys have set a perfect piece of art in which it was once the twin towers site. The way the sun is reflected by the facade is beyond words.

It seems to me that new 1WTC looks higher than the twins on this photo.

^ It does, although it has a lot more company now (most notably 7WTC and Goldman Sachs). I also like how Beekman and the Barclay Tower stand out.
